**Number Line:**

The number line is labeled with the integers in ascending order from left to right. The distance is same between any two consecutive integers on a number line

- Draw a number line and represent the integers on it.
- Write the order from right to left to get the greatest to least integer

** Order is 9, 7, 0, -3, and -7**

Integers are of two types

**Positive Integer **– positive integers are the whole numbers greater than zero and these numbers are to the right of zero on the number line

** Negative Integer** – Negative integers are the whole numbers less than zero. It is also called as opposites. It is represented using the negative sign. These numbers are to the left of zero on the number line.

Zero is neither positive nor negative, so it is called neutral. Two integers are opposite if they are in the same distance. For example +4 and -4 gives opposites. Additive Inverse is opposite of a number.

The two parts of integers are magnitude of the integer and sign of the integer. The whole number component of an integer is the magnitude and the positive, negative deals in the sign of the integer.
