Money combination's are the combination's through which we can count money based on different combination's i.e.
Certain amount can be calculated using some combination's say dollars, penny, dime, quarter etc
Combinations
The American currency was basically divided into penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar. These are represented as
Penny
1 penny is worth 1 cent (1¢)
Example:
5 pennies = 5 cents (5¢)
Nickel
1 Nickel worth 5 cents (5¢)
Example:
3 Nickel = 15 cents (15¢)
Dime
1 Dime worth 10 cents (10¢)
Example:
3 Dimes = 30 cents (30¢)
Quarter
1 Quarter worth 25 cents (25¢)
Example:
2 Quarters = 50 cents (50¢)
Half dollar
1 Half dollar worth 50 cents (50¢)
Example:
4 Half dollars = 2 Dollars ($2)
Dollar
1 Dollar worth 100 cents (100¢) or ($1)
Example:
5 Dollars = 500 cents (500¢) or ($5)

1. How many pennies are their in 2nickel?
Given: Pennies to nickel
No of nickel are 2
Relation: Nickel is worth 5 pennies.
So 2x5=10
2. How many cents are 6 dollars, 5 dimes and 2 pennies worth?
Given: Dollars =6
Dimes= 5
Pennies =2
Count by 100 times for 6 dollars 100,200,300,400,500,600
Count by tens for the 5 dimes: 610, 620, 630, 640,650
Count by ones for the 2 pennies: 651, 652
6 dollars, 5dimes and 3 pennies are worth 652¢
652¢ is the same as $6.52 since there are 100 cents per dollar.

3. Convert cents to 2and half dollars?
Given:Cents to dollars
Relation: Half dollar worth 50 cents
Number of dollars = 2 and half
Half dollars =50 cents
1 dollar=100 cents
2 and half dollars= 100+100+50
=250 cents.
4. Converts 9 nickel to cents and 6 cents to nickel?
Given:
Nickel to cents
Relation: 1 Nickel worth 5 cents
No of nickel =9
9 nickel to cents = 9x5
=45 cents
Cents to nickel
No of cents =6
1nickel= 5cents
X = 6 cents
Cross multiply:
6X1=5x
5X=6
X = $\frac{6}{5}$
X = 1.2 nickel
