Introduction
Subtraction is a one of four mathematical operations that represents difference of objects and digits together into a smaller collection. It is denoted by plus minus (-). Performing addition is one of the simplest numerical tasks. Subtraction is written using the plus sign "-" between the terms; that is, in infix notation. The result is expressed with a sign. It’s inverse of addition.
Example
Subtraction of 34 and 21
Given, 34 and 21
34 -21=13
Subtraction of 34 and 21 so denoted by (-) sign and result is 13 so denoted by (=) sign
The traditional names for the parts of the formula
C - B= A
Where:C=minuend
B= subtrahend
A=difference
Properties
1. It’s not associative or commutative
2. Its anti commutative
3. Helps in finding difference between two quantities etc
Subtraction of three Digits
Steps
Three digit numbers is added similar like 2 digit number but middle term is included
1. First minus right hand side numbers
2. If any zero then borrow from the added with middle terms
3. Then subtract finally with left hand side
4. Represent the result with equal to sign
Solved Problem

3465 and 2345
Given numbers: 3465 and 2345
Mode of operation: ---
The difference between 3465 and 2345 is 1120.
2) Subtract the following terms 334 and 254
Given 334 and 254
Mode of operation is (-)
3) Subtract the 3digit numbers?
335, 567 and 245?
Given: 3 digit numbers
335, 567 and 245
Mode of operation (-)
First subtract 567 and 335
The difference between 3 digit number is 13
