Around the World in 100 Days: Becoming a Global Online Firm

It has been around 100 days since we launched  . During this journey, we have served students from over 20 cities worldwide. started with a small base in Vienna, VA thinking of first focusing on the local market before expanding further. But the team underestimated the power of Internet. Within days of launching the site, they were seeing visitors from all over the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Australia, Korea, France, and Germany among other nations. Inspite of focusing the marketing dollars in the local market through mailers and other community marketing activities, very soon the number of students outside Virginia topped the number of local students. |

Online Tutoring is still in its toddler stage, if not infancy. Many parents haven’t heard of this teaching methodology, so they need to be educated about this method. But Google Ads, various articles, and blogs on the benefit and convenience of Online Tutoring are helping generate this awareness. And of course, the word of mouth travels even faster. Current parents bringing in more parents help expand the universe. We have a family in Chicago who recommended us to her sister in Florida, another one in Denver recommended us to her friend in Toronto. |

| Independent of location, students from all backgrounds, nationalities are embracing Online Tutoring. We have a Korean family settled in US who is using our service to teach their children English. They were so impressed with the improvement they saw within the first 3 weeks, that they asked us if we could provide similar tutoring service to their neighbors in the area. We have a pilot from Continental Airlines who was looking for some calculus help to complete his degree course. His schedule is varied every week and he flies all over the US and Europe on a regular basis. He was looking for expert guidance on Calculus that could work with his schedule. For the past 45 days, he has been very happy even since our tutors in Bangalore have helped him whenever he needs help.
